The WiNRADiO WAARP (Audio Analyzer and Replay Program) is a specialized application making it possible to analyze,
annotate and playback WWV (WiNRADiO wave format) files recorded by WiNRADiO receivers and monitoring systems, such as the MS-8118/G3 multichannel monitoring and surveillance system.
The WiNRADiO WWV audio files are embedded with metatags for each second of the recording, containing
date, time, frequency, demodulation mode, signal level and squelch level information, making it
possible to instantly identify the parameters of the receiver when the
recording was made. |
Every WWV-format file may contain an unlimited number of markers with associated textual comments. The WiNRADiO WAARP makes it possible to easily add and manage such markers and annotations.
As shown in the adjacent picture, a marker appears in two sections of the editor window and in the Annotations window.
You can simply drag a marker and place it anywhere you wish in the WWV file, and add associated text to it. |
|
|
The WINRADiO WAARP includes playback speed control, making processing of WWV files easier and less time-consuming.
There are five speeds to select from, 50%, 75%, 100%, 150% and 200% of the original recording speed.
Change of speed does not affect the playback audio pitch. |
An entire WWV file or its selected part can be saved to another WWV file or
converted to the Windows-standard WAV file with user-specified audio format and attributes. |
|
|
Conversely, WAV files or their selected parts can be converted to WWV format files and imported to WAARP's working directory using WAARP's
WAV Importer. |
